Over 100 gh2o apartments sold

Since the launch of the second phase of the award winning gh2o development at Glasgow Harbour, an incredible 101 apartments have been snapped up, cementing Dandara’s exceptional reputation in Scotland.
Since arriving on the banks of the Clyde in 2005 with its first ever Scottish development, Dandara has made an unprecedented impact on the Glasgow property market. Despite a general cooling in the UK property market, gh2o has continued to report strong sales with figures for April 2008 reporting Dandara’s best month since the launch of phase two, while just five apartments remaining in the first phase.
Since the official launch of phase two in February 2008, potential buyers have been clamoring to get their hands on the newly released apartments – innovative design, highly desirable location and a reasonable price tag are all contributing to gh2o’s continued success.
High specification apartments
With a modern mix of rarely found studios, along with one and two bedroom apartments, phase one of gh2o was an instant hit with an exceptionally high standard of interior décor and specification as standard. Since the release of the second phase, buyers have again been wowed with Dandara’s continued commitment to quality and attention to detail.
In response to feedback from customers in the first phase, Dandara has implemented changes to an already extremely high specification, which promises to be even more impressive and with 26 different apartment styles to choose from, gh2o is guaranteed to satisfy the most discerning buyers.
80% of apartments have river views
Each apartment throughout the second phase of the development has been designed to feature a balcony and 80% of the apartments will have a view of the River Clyde, taking advantage of its prime waterfront location.
After sweeping the board at the 2007 Herald Property Awards, claiming ‘Best Waterside Apartment’ as well as the overall property award for Scotland, the Grand Prix Award for Best Development, gh2o has gone from strength to strength.
Hugh McGuinness, sales director for Dandara said:
“We are delighted by the runaway success of gh2o and I am pleased to say that the second phase is selling incredibly well - it truly has bucked the trend here in Glasgow.
“We have continued to maintain a steady flow of sales through the last few months and we feel that is down to the high level of quality found in each of our apartments and also the competitive pricing.
“Right now, more and more people are looking to property as an investment not just for now, but for their future too. It’s important to us that we create apartments that will last and will become a valuable asset for our buyers for years to come.”
